I’ve been using prescription topical Retin-A for the past few years (really bad acne) but it’s insanely drying. It tends to make my skin peel and flake, even with moisturizers. I had heard good things about #bakuchiol and wanted to give it a try — it’s supposed to produce similar effects, but more gently; it’s also derived from plants and can be produced without animal testing. #crueltyfree #veganskincare

I can’t speak to the effectiveness of this product, especially compared to a prescription medication, but it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I have to keep my #skincare lineup pretty small because I react to a lot of ingredients (I’m trying to avoid scratching an idiopathic rash as I type this…) so it’s good to know that this #serum (really more of a gel than a liquid) is a viable alternative I can turn to when I’m dealing with severe dryness. It’s pretty affordable, too! #groceryoutletfinds had it for under $5.
