Review of Avo Del Pollo at Panarottis Vaal Mall by jeanne-marie

Panarottis consistently expands on their vegan menu and now even serve vegan options that aren’t pizza/pasta 🙏🏻 this dish is one of their newer options.

“Plant-based chicken strips and tangy vegan mayonnaise on a bed of lettuce and cherry tomatoes, served with sliced avocado” AND an entire (delicious) flatbread. This is priced at R119.90.
They use the Fry’s strips, which I’ve never been the biggest fan of… and the strips were served COLD which I was not expecting at all and it sort of made the strips even worse because it didn’t have a crispness to it. The amount of sliced avocado was very decent, but think they could’ve added a few more cherry tomatoes (I got exactly two, sliced in half). The lettuce was really nice and fresh.
It was a very filling dish and I’m grateful for the non-pizza options, but they really still do their pizzas the best! 🍕
