these were pretty tasty! i liked the strong roasted red pepper flavor in each bite, and it packed a strong flavor punch without being spicy or anything. i could taste some tomato, some garlic… almost a bite of marinara..? i really enjoyed the flavor, and the texture was pretty solid too. not quite “meaty” deli meat, but a typical thin-sliced cut. i appreciated how thinly they were sliced. my only complaints are that they could use a bit more protein (a nitpick), and that they are not super affordable to me (~$7 a pack on instacart from fresh market) so they’re a treat when they are on sale!
