Review of Dark Chocolate Overnight Oats - Brekki by glutenfreevee
As I really enjoy Brekki overnight oats, I decided to take the plunge on one of their newest flavors, dark chocolate. This is a bit different than their banana or apple flavored ones, as there is no gel at the bottom. Everything is incorporated.
I found my experience to closely resemble one of enjoying chocolate ice cream or rich chocolate pudding with almond bits and slightly softened chewy oat flakes and buckwheat groats. The chia and flax seeds went unnoticed, as the softness enveloped them into oblivion. The chocolate flavor is especially heavenly in this!
One (150g) container provides 230 calories from 10g of fat 29g of carbs (6g of fiber) and 8g of protein.
I’ve only seen this at Aldi’s, and it’s currently priced at $1.89. I’m unsure if it’s considered an Aldi’s Find or not, but I certainly hope they keep it year round as the price and enjoyment of these can’t be beat.
