Trader Joe's

#recyclable, #palmoilfree

Kimbap lover here enjoying this easy to heat and eat #lazyvegan meal!! Finally got my hands on this to try and so glad I did! Another crazy busy week and what a lifesaver this meal turned out to be! Dipped in some chili 🌶️ sauce cuz #welikeitspicy ! Found in the freezer section at Trader Joe's. The entire roll is sitting in a plastic holder #ditchplasticsavetheocean that is to be heated up in it and the outside wrap after cutting a slit in the packaging. After microwaving let sit for a minute and enjoy or fry till crispy. I airfryed mine for a couple minutes on 370 F. It came out slightly crispy and gave it a nice texture on the outside while keeping the center soft and chewy!
Variety of veggies and tofu in this roll were delightful and so flavorful! Salty, slightly sweet and tangy from lemon 🍋 and pickled radish!
I so should have grabbed 2 of these to keep one in the freezer for back up!

$3.99 from Trader Joe’s

alistar Is it very different to sushi? It looks like sushi but I suppose if it’s meant to be eaten warm that’s very different. 3 likesReply
berryveganplanet That’s right. I believe kimbap is filled with cooked ingredients where as sushi is filled with mainly raw ingredients. .2 likesReply
beckyyy It’s normally eaten at room temp but this product comes frozen. In addition to having some cooked ingredients (as mentioned 😊) the rice is also seasoned differently. It is seasoned with sesame oil rather than seasoned rice vinegar. I’ve only had homemade before so I’m so excited to try this! Hope you try sometime! 3 likesReply
alistar Mmmmm sesame oil, the best!!2 likesReply
beckyyy I bought this too! Excited to try, though I’m not sure how I’m going to prepare it as I don’t have a microwave. Whooops! I’m thinking perhaps to steam it. Glad you enjoyed it! 3 likesReply
berryveganplanet You can definitely steam it or let it thaw and fry it. One of the ladies at TJ’s told me that her and her co workers tried together in microwave and enjoyed it . She mentioned she was going to take some home and try frying it. I hope you like it and excited to see your review! I loved it for a quick freezer meal!2 likesReply
