Review of Silken tofu - Yutaka by veronicagroen
This #silkentofu is super #silky, smooth, rich, and amazingly soft.
A good source of #protein. Tofu is versatile and can be used in any dish. I have fried, baked, roasted and used it in desserts. This pack was used in a chocolate cream pie (not the best picture or presentation) but it works wonderfully in creating a mousse texture.
I found this locally ๐ฑ at Checkers for R69 . It is a very good quality #silkentofu. I love the colour and texture. I have to buy it again as I saw a crepe recipe Vikas shared and I also want to us it in a shashuka ๐ ๐ .

veronicagroenย Anytime, if you are going to give it a try, don't be as stupid as me, don't add your melted chocolate on the cold tofu, add the chocolate when everything else have been added and when you are ready to start the food processor.... what can I say, not one of my proudest moments โบ๏ธ ๐ ๐ณ ๐ 2 likesReply

veronicagroenย Most people feel the same you, and it can be very blant or even gross. My husband is actually much better with tofu than I am as he likes all kinds of seasoning where I stick to salt & Pepper. But in this recipe the tofu only delivers the cream part, the chocolate does all the work. You can do it! ๐ ๐ 1 likeReply
