Review of CRISPY CHICKY at Beatnic - West Village by lizmaselli
This salad was great. This was my first meal on Thursday in the city! I love the vibe and energy in West Village, so I chose this location, even though they have several. I'm glad we had some nice weather because it's pouring today!🌧
This salad had romaine, kale, crispy jackfruit chicken, carrots, purple cabbage, mandarin oranges, almonds, crispy wontons, sesame seeds and ginger dressing. I got it without almonds, but I totally messed up and should have asked for a substitution. I loved the #jackfruit chicken. Seriously, I don't believe it was jackfruit, lol. It truly was crispy and delicious. I also loved the creamy dressing and fresh mandarins. I'll definitely come back here, it was a great experience. I love the beautiful dining area and the pretty pastel tables out front. Everything is affordable as well. PLUS, if you download their app, they have coupons. (Wink wink) This large salad was $13 and left me but full and energized to walk around the city. I would definitely recommend it!
