When you open up this mushroom-based beverage you immediately get hit with a root beer aroma. The sensation with the first sip is that of a root beer as well, the aftertaste and overall taste as it settles in your mouth are far more earthy. A little more reminiscent of old-style sarsaparilla. It's a strong flavor and while I do like it, I can grasp why some people might not. If you like unusual things that are somewhat intense, maybe you’re one of me, give it a go.
