I’ve been a Wine Club member at Colaneri Estate Winery for about 6 years. It’s an Italian winery located in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, and I get 2 bottles shipped to me every month. I always get excited when I receive a bottle of Chardonnay, as it’s one of my favorites. ￼Unlike a California Chardonnay, this is not oaky. It has a crisp and clean taste, which I love. 

According to the winery’s website, “A wine that will remind you of home, this Chardonnay gives aromas of almond, banana, sweet corn and green apple. The palate brings memories of butterscotch, pear, red apple and walnut with a creamy finish.”

According to barnivore.com, all wines from Colaneri are vegan.

It’s my favourite winery in the Niagara region. If you’re ever out that way, I strongly recommend you visit them and do some wine tasting. 😊
