Review of marinara sauce - Fody Foods by brtjohns
Fodmap sensitivities are proof why nutrition and healthy eating is not black & white straightforward and comprehensively factual, because we all have our own genetic makeup.
Fodmap stands for fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and polyols, which are short chain carbs, aka sugars. People with these sensitivities dont have the digestive system to process them well.
Thus, this sauce doesnt have garlic or onion, as they contain fructans- string of fructose molecules with a glucose molecule on the end. The O and P.
It's still a tasty sauce. Expensive. Got it on sale, wouldnt buy again. Didnt realize it's not organic until i got home, woops. Little high in sodium. Dont know where tomatos are from.
