Review of In-Flight Meal - Qatar airways by stefveg97

Just found out that you can review airline meals too in here and decided to grab these pics from the gallery.
This is my entire meal of the return journey. I don’t have the pics from the first outbound trip unluckily ☹️

Anyways, last year I travelled with Qatar Airlines after sooo long and this was my first time ordering a vegan meal plan (which has to be done online and always 24h before your flight).
The last time I took a long distance flight with in-flight meals I was just vegetarian.

I kinda had fun with my orders since there are a varieties of vegetarian/vegan meals you can choose from.

My first meal was a Vegetarian Oriental Meal (VOML - it’s a vegan diet although it’s called vegetarian). Not a good start, have to confess. Sadly the noodles were very salty. The tofu in it was really good tho. I still ate it all cuz I was so hungry 😂

Then we were given a mid flight snack, which in my case was a veggie sandwich. Good but not the best thing ever. I had a warm black tea with it.

The last meal (Doha to Milan) was an Asian Vegetarian Meal / Veg Hindu Meal (AVML - also vegan even tho named vegetarian). This was soooo incredibly good! Can’t stress how much I enjoyed it. Loved the side dishes/desserts as well.

I can’t wait to fly long distances again, because I love in flight meals so much. Might I confess that it’s probably the best part of travelling 😂
