Review of Polony slicing sausage - Fry's Family Food by itsjustmel

I'm not sure why I bought this as I never really ate luncheon meat even when I wasn't vegan... but I have a weakness for buying something I've never tried before. This is quite a convincing replica of luncheon meat, although it does still have that slight odd #fakemeat #aftertaste.

It also requires freezing, and once thawed it has to be used within 25 hours, so I think a portion of it is going to be wasted 😒 It would be better if it came sliced, and you could thaw slices as you use them.

I added it to a cabbage and mushroom stir fry, see second photo. Overall not bad and I'm glad I tried it but I'm unlikely to buy again due to the wastage issue.
