The world of #tofu truly is a vast and beautiful one… After enough trial and error, I had to accept the hard truth that dried tofu skin really can’t be rushed 😅 If I want this silky smooth sludge of protein, it’s gonna take a long simmer 🫠 Anything too hot would just make it chewy.
So, for one, I ended up having this with my grandma’s Chinese style curry recipe. My mom then, suddenly, revealed a different naturally vegan tofu skin dish 🫢 It’s just a humble garlic and soy sauce stir fry sludge but it works so well 😋
RM 5ish is how these tend to go. So glad these are great for a #frugalvegan like myself 😁 Beware of these little packets that rehydrate into full volume 😏
It’s a great pantry keep for me because it’s preserved just by being #dried 👍
