Review of Malaysian Aubergine Curry at The Black Rabbit by vegpledge
This #curry was a bit more soup-y than I was expecting, but I actually quite liked that - it allowed the jasmine rice and veggies to soak up the flavours, sort of like a broth. The sauce was delicious and lightly spiced, and there was a mixture of vegetables including #aubergine and celery slices, sugar-snap peas and onion. I liked how the different components came in separate little bowls, and my favourite part was the pickled pineapple which was gingery and spicy. This is such a beautiful #pub too! Right by the river Arun.
