So exciting!!! The first thing I did when I got to Los Angeles was go to the grocery store looking for this! I heard amazing things about how this liquid mozzarella melts and stretches and tastes so good! Expectations were high and overall I’m quite pleased and think that if I use this a few times I’ll definitely be able perfect how to make the perfect pizza with it.
High points:
Tastes great! Has a really nice rich taste. I highly recommend sprinkling sea salt and topping with shredded basil once the pizza is out of the oven
Looks pretty good. Kind of reminds me of the cheese on French bread pizza that we used to get in elementary school lunch 🤤
It doesn’t stick to my teeth like Daiya and some of the other vegan cheeses.
Things to improve:
It’s not really stretchy. It more of a mushy substance. I think I need to put it on really thin to get better results.
It needs a bit of that greasiness that mozzarella has when it’s baked on pizza.
Overall it’s a great product. I forgot to take a photo when the pizza was baked but it went fast and the team loved it! I love using a cast iron pan to make a deep dish pizza, it comes out great!
