Review of Soup at Cafe 1496 by amber99

Café 1496 have different soup options throughout the week as most places do, but they say on the menu that there's always a vegan soup option. This was the vegan option on the day I visited: lentil soup. It was pretty tasty! It's £3.80 so good value, and the brown bread was nice too. Unfortunately it was sent out with butter as you can see, I did ask for the vegan soup but I think they were pretty hectic when I visited.

The front of house staff are what makes this place great; they couldn't have been more attentive and friendly! I would defo recommend visiting and trying one of the vegan options; just make sure you mention not wanting butter if you order the soup.
