Review of Black Bean Spaghetti - ALDI by janxr
These were gifted by a friend & I prob wouldn't have thought to try them otherwise, but I was really pleasantly surprised - they have a slight earthy/savoury taste & a lovely texture (somewhere between white & wholewheat pasta).
Made with black soya beans they have a high protein content (15g/100g cooked weight). I treated them like noodles & added some toasted sesame oil to have them as a side to a stir fry which was really delicious. 😋 The taste is so mild I think they'd be fine to sub for pasta in most dishes though. 🍝
Definitely something I'd look out for if in Aldi. 👍
