Review of Traditional Seitan Strips - Sweet Earth by ploopy
so my um friend said that what i cooked was apparently “ew” (looks wise), but i thought it looked good so i guess i’ll post it here.
anyway, it tasted really good! seitan is kinda like tofu in some respects, except i don’t like plain seitan at all. something about it just has a weird after taste, while on the other hand, i can handle plain tofu.
it’s pretty firm and slightly chewy, i haven’t tried any other brands of seitan so i don’t really have anything else to compare it to lol.

i followed this recipe btw, it tasted super good!! i’m usually not a huge fan of leftovers, but i’ve been swayed! first actual good seitan dish i’ve had lolol the other times i’ve cooked it have all been low effort.
