Review of Vegetarian Lunch Set at Yamagawa Japanese Restaurant by iranahranahrun

Today was my last day of internship n my colleagues were super kind to treat me to a nice meal. I was gonna just get a pathetic bowl of soba but to my surprise they had vegetarian lunch set (not on the physical menu but just ask the staff and request for without egg). The food in the photo might look very unassuming but the taste was bomb!! The wasabi tasted super fresh, and with picked ginger, the sushi hit differently haha. The tempura too was fried to perfection: not greasy n super cripsy! Love the enoki mushroom especially! For the silky tofu, I’m guessing it’s coated with glutinous rice batter?? Definitely a dish that surprised me the most!
