*To be safe I’d go with this being vegetarian and possibly not vegan, because I suspect there might be dairy in that garlic aioli!

My second trip to Dumpling Darlings! As a dumpling enthusiast I can’t miss Singapore’s hippiest dumpling joint (at least according to IG)🌚 I sometimes find that veggie dumplings tend to have a flatter taste profile — but these ones don’t. DD makes all their dumplings fried gyoza style in rather experimental variants and these lil pouches are packed with flavour and bite (the Korean pickles especially)! The garlic aioli dip does complement the gyoza rather well, although I personally prefer my dumplings without sauce.

A potential downside is I find DD’s menu on the oilier side! And of course, if you love a traditional dumpling fix, DD presents a far more modern, almost bar-like, very hip spin on dumplings (this includes dessert dumplings)! At $8 for 5, I wouldn’t mind popping by a again for fun dumplings but won’t count on DD for a proper dumpling fix per se.

(Their noodles are really good though!) 🙂
