Review of Colgate Smile For Good - Colgate by vegneve
Thought I’d give this toothpaste a try since it was a £ cheaper at Tesco with a Clubcard, it looked really promising and ticked a lot of boxes, but I wasn’t impressed.
The taste wasn’t very minty and left such a weird aftertaste that I don’t like at all! And it really isn’t a foamy toothpaste, even when I used it with my electric toothbrush. If those things were to be improved I’d get it again! Good to see a big company like Colgate being more ethical, just to get the formula right now!
*Update, I’ve tried it with a manual toothbrush and it actually foams up a lot better, and I feel like I’ve kind of got used to the weird aftertaste!

catpuella Colgate might offer some vegan products, however because this company is not cruelty-free, I recommend avoiding any products they offer even if they are vegan. 😔1 likeReply
vegneve I get that, but at the same time it shows the big companies that there’s a demand for these type of products and hopefully that’ll influence them and others to become more ethical, so it works a bit of both ways🤷♀️ just like Garnier for example, they released vegan-friendly products and now the whole company have become 100% cruelty free.
