Review of Double Cream - Elmlea by janxr
I was really impressed with this double cream from Elmlea, it's lovely, smooth and creamy, with a neutral taste and just a little sweetness. It's incredibly like dairy cream, and apparently can be whipped (unlike many other vegan creams) though I haven't tried doing so yet. 🍓🍌🍰
The main ingredient is a 'lentil protein preparation' followed by veg oils including palm, though the brand does say it's committed to sustainable palm oil (for what it's worth).
