VEGAN

Fazer

I've used this Oat Block, which is quite new product in Finland :), instead of tofu in some of the dishes I prepare. (e.g. palak 'paneer') It works well and I really liked the texture.. similar to tofu but tastes more sour. High protein as well.
Yosa Oat brand has recipes on their page. I also used this to make nofish sticks, which turned out awesome. (See photo)

herbimetal OMG nofish sticks?? 😱 hey if you want to submit your recipe you can write to the abillionveg team! Sounds really innovative Reply
veganhaven @herbimetal thanks 😅 but this isn't completely my own invention. It's actually a thing. They are made using tofu usually. This Oat block is a similar product made using oats in Finland. You can just google the recipe for vegan fish sticks. Basically cut the block into stick shapes and marinate them. Later, cover in a breadcrumbs flour then pan fry :) YosaOat also has this recipe on their website.Reply
