Review of Pulse Pasta Penne - San Remo by r3ddrag0n

Take note: I bought this on Fairprice online not at this outlet. I’ve been trying to find this for a Long time, cannot find it at Fairprice Yishun & Fairprice Finest Bishan. Redmart does carry this too. $4.95 for a 250g packet. It’s a little pricey but I think it’s worth it because it’s nutrition packed. It has 23g of protein per serving(100g)! Tho I don’t think I can finish 100g of pasta lol. I wouldn’t say it taste exactly like the normal pasta. It taste healthier and more grittish and harder. But not as untasty as the wholemeal pasta. In my opinion, I think I would still buy it but wouldn’t replace it completely with normal pasta, maybe just use it if I don’t have any protein source at hand. I made it with vegan cheese and a whole lot of spinach. I feel like you need to have some sort of sauce(cheese/tomato/pesto sauce etc.) to not let the pasta be too overpowering. If you use this for Aglio Olio, it might not be that tasty compared to using normal pasta.
