Last but not least, another breakfast offering! As much as I like the apple, I enjoyed the banana porridge more. It rehydrated well, with the banana giving a sweet, mushy texture 🙂 2 servings kept me full for a long time on the trail.
If only these weren't so pricey, $14 US, or $19 CAD each 🫤

Found quite a selection of this Firepot brand at REI. As far as dehydrated meals go, it was actually pretty good. I don't think I added enough boiling water to make it more stew-like, so the texture could have been better. 
The flavor, however, was good 👍 Same with the nutritional value!

It's getting a bit easier to find #vegan dehydrated meals for backpacking. 👌
Found quite a selection of this Firepot brand at REI. As far as dehydrated meals go, it was actually pretty good. I don't think I added enough boiling water to make it more stew-like, so the texture could have been better. 
The flavor, however, was good 👍 Same with the nutritional value!

A sweet treat! Pretty good almond butter cups 👌 I took them on the trail for extra calories. They ended up melting in the heat, but the chocolate reformed when it got cold 😆 I still ate them and enjoyed it!

I love this #[veganbacon](hashtag-5b61361bc215c949ed60cca4)! Hearty slices that I put on breakfast sandwiches. Salty and smokey flavor, so good! It does get a bit crumbly in the pan, just got to be careful when turning the slices over, but they fry up nicely 👌 I wish they had this in Canada.

After camping for a few days, you crave a cold, crunchy salad.
Was happy to find this vegan caesar salad! It was very tasty and the chickpea croutons were a great idea. Same with the addition of capers, mm!
Only downside was all the plastic contained within this one package ☹️
