VEGAN

Tofurky

#ethicallymade

Love a good sandwich or wrap, and this stuff is pretty tasty. I tried their other deli slices and personally, I like how they seasoned this one. The texture is great too.

What I also like about this product is that it’s a #CertifiedBCorporation brand. If you haven’t read about it, take a few to do it.

As you might’ve noticed on my profile, I’m Anti-Capitalism and Anti Fascism. It’s a one hand washes the other situation. Both breed sociopathy, narcissism, and psychopathy where people will say/do whatever to gain more capital and both support and perpetuate nazi culture of “superior inferior”, “survival of the fittest”, “better than, less than” “alpha/beta” etc. biggest reason why animals are treated so inhumanly, excellent way of escaping responsibility for causing disasters, whether socioeconomically, environmentally, socially, economically, morally or internationally.

They’ll dump shit in the water that poisons people, to cut costs and escape responsibility of doing it eco consciously, they’ll defund schools to save themselves millions annually, they’ll manipulate and lie to exploit workers, you get the picture, the list is huge, and people fall into it to fit in, follow the money and try to be like these sociopaths/narcissists/psychopaths to survive or live a “good” life. Certified B Corporation model creates accountability for businesses that take into account work environments, raises, community, ecological impact, morality etc. it’s worth taking a look.

We have to abolish capitalism/fascism, and one of the ways we can do it is by backing ethical business practice. Capitalism is the reason for tortured mutilated animals and will continue as long as profit is at the pedestal.

Also demand to #SubsidizeVeganBrands. The only reason animal products are cheap is because slaughter houses, and everything about them is paid through our taxes. Nothing cheap about all the equipment, facility maintenance and chemicals they pump into these living beings for profit. If Vegan brands will be cheaper (if not much cheaper through subsidies) than animal products (especially in this economy), more people might be inclined to switch. Thanks for reading!

ruckus Glad I can help. I think it still has ways to go, like having the ability to legally enforce their standards and have companies governing bodies be liable for damages if the companies fail to meet them, but at least it’s a direction and focus towards important responsibilities, and just build from there.

Companies absolutely and unequivocally have to take responsibility for socioeconomic, ecological, economic conditions instead of just exploiting them at their whim and then claiming “free-market” bullshit when it suits them to avoid any responsibility and accountability. I don’t know about you, but I was livid at how things were/are handled during the pandemic. It just showed how insanely corrupt, fascist and deranged our economy is.

These companies need to feel some intense responsibility and accountability instead of just exploiting everyone and everything, or get out of business. Reply
