It’s a no from me. First time having tahini and I’m sorry but I don’t like it, it tastes like I imagine cement would 😂

mikejuliette 🤣 (at your description) Did you eat it straight or mix it with a lot lemon juice, warm water and a bit of garlic? 2 likesReply

mikejuliette It makes it a lot bitter (saucier too) and this thinned 'dressing' / sauce is what they actually put in your schwarma or drizzle over your falafels when it says tahini on a menu or it is an option. For 4 tablespoons of tahini, you would normally go for at least half a lemon and 150 ml of warm water. Use a fork to mix in the lemon juice then put in a 1/3 of the warm water mix it until all the water and lemon had gone in. Check the consistency if you still want it thinner at more warm water. It thicken a little immediately as it cools too.2 likesReply

m0rgan Try adding some mustard to the dressing as well. Delicious 🤤 or blend with some fresh coriander and a chilli for a spicy coriander dressing to go on a burrito ( or anything ) 1 likeReply
