Review of Hainanese steamed chicken rice at Kopitiam by carboholic

The Hainanese ‘chicken’ rice consists of mock meat, cucumbers,tomato & fragrant rice. With the addition of soy sauce and chilli.

I wasn’t really a big fan of the steamed ‘chicken’, it was too soggy and quite bland for my taste. The rice on the other hand was actually quite flavourful and reminded me of the traditional chicken rice. The chilli (not shown) was power-packed and I loved it!

Overall, I don’t recommend trying out the steamed chicken rice! Maybe the next time I go down I could try out the roasted one instead!
