VEGAN

ASDA

This is white spaghetti with a good dollop of tomatoey sauce 5 or 6 "vegan balls" (rather like falafel) & a smattering of little spinach leaves.
It's quite tasty though I found it rather sweet.

The pack says 'low' in sugars ("10% of your reference intake"), though the nutritional info on the back says 'carbohydrate of which sugars = 8.9 g' out of a pack weighing 380 g, which seems like a lot of sugar to me.
The sugar, along with 16 g of fat probably explains why it's tasty.

To me, the "plant based" label insinuates healthy, maybe that's just me, but a pack of quite sweet oily white spaghetti with a token garnish of spinach doesn't seem like a balanced meal to me, & RRP of £1.92 a bit pricey for basically junk food.
Yes, I feel sinful for having eaten some of it. At a reduced price of 53p I thought I'd give it a punt, now I feel bad.
I wouldn't recommend this unless you're desperate.
