Review of Lebanese flat bread - Bread Basket Sandton City by ftc

This was the best Lebanese Flat bread I have bought in a long time , the consistency and texture was perfect
I appreciated that it stayed fresh.
I was over the moon in successfully making raw vegan Kibbeh (traditionally made from meat)
It tasted exactly the same but the meat was replaced with mushrooms and some other vegan replacement tricks I have learnt
This dish being the epitome of Middle East cooking was one I knew I would definitely not have again after going vegan , to my delight it was even better than what I remembered, so no doubt plant is best 😀
The flat bread is generally always eaten with kibbeh , you scoop up the kibbeh with the bread
This was an incredible meze
