Review of Chestnut Puree - Merchant Gourmet by stevenneoh
Taste of chestnut was light and pleasant. I was a bit surprised to see how pasty and dry it was in the bag. But if you mix it with enough olive oil + tahini, it comes to life and behaves like hummus. I also added lemon juice and rock salt. End result was a lovely accompaniment to my maize crisps and stuffed olives.
