Couscous

Well I haven't got a lot to compare it to, but it tasted alright! Had nearly given up trying to find cous cous in the supermarket and asked one of the staff. She moved to look it up in the store directory (where it wasn't listed; I'd already looked) and saw it on the shelf behind her In the Pasta section 🤣 #veganisnotscary

I love couscous because it is easy and quick to prepare, and so nutritious. I like mixing it with other grains like quinoa or buckwheat too. It’s very versatile. This particular one from Woolies is so affordable, $1.75 for a 500g box. #veganin2020

Couscous has to be the most simple thing to make! Simply add boiling water and let it steam for a few minutes. Only downside is, its not gluten free. #veganin2020
