Versatile with fried beancurd, petai, etc. I stirfry this with arrowroot chips, mock lemon fish, and peanuts (third pic), delicious! One packet can last two to three meals for about 2-3 pax.
Husband has been using this whenever he makes sambal dishes - sambal petai, stir-fried sambal kangkung.. highly recommended!
Mushroom bits were used to replace the udang (prawn) in this ready-to-eat sambal. It was adequately spicy but would have liked a bit more belacan. I used it in my stir fry and it smelled heavenly!
