Hodo means ‘Good Bean’ in a mash-up of Cantonese & Mandarin - and boy do they mean it! This company claims that their soy beans pack more protein than regular soy providers - which is never a bad thing if you’re plant based.
These crumbles are just the right amount of spicy, featuring chipotle, lime & oregano. They are divine in a taco or burrito with peppers, some jalapeños, and plenty of guac 🥑

I didn’t look at what these are made of when i grabbed them; they’re made of tofu. Their soft texture is great in a taco. They’re not in any way spicy, though. Add some taco seasoning or something else that will deliver a little heat, and you’ll be golden.

this is made of tofu! it’s basically crumbled tofu. i had no idea when i bought this. i thought it was a different soy base.
i was so drawn back when i opened the package to a circular slab of tofu. it smells delicious and it’s seasoned very well. the texture is just softer and squisher so you can tell it’s tofu. i made a big soft taco with nopales, avocado, shredded mozz, and these crumbles. it was very delish. ingredients are great too.
