Bandeja de Paisa is a traditional Colombian dish. It's a bean stew with rice, tomatoes,
salad, avocado and a protein patty.
Traditionally served with meat, but in this restaurant, they will replace the meat with a bean patty.
It's very filling, nutritious, and fairly tasty.
Colombian food is not for everyone, and for my taste, it's just a tad bit bland.
But nothing some Salsa Picante can't save.
The other dish is called - Patecon con salsa. Its a big nacho like crispy thing. Not quite sure what it's made of, sorry, but goes really well with some guac as a starter.
