Review of Vegan Falafel Mezzo Box at Mezzo by whitemalteser25

I got this to takeaway as I didn’t have time to sit in this time and was impressed with the portion size and presentation

This was listed as a falafel box with a base of tahini hummus, pomegranate. jewelled rice, pickles, salad, flat bread 🧆🥗🍚

It was really tasty and exactly as described, the hummus was lovely and smooth (slightly more bitter than usual due to the addition tahini but I liked it!)

Falafel tasted herby and were deep fried rather than baked I believe so weren’t dry like some can be but also not dripping in oil… salad had a nice vinaigrette dressing which complimented the rest of the box well!

I recommend if you want a quick lunch in the area!
