All-vegan restaurant by Ella Mills (née Woodward), dedicated to celebrating the beautiful flavours of plants, without the need to recreate the tastes and textures of animal flesh etc.
This was my first time visiting; I brought my parents and a family friend. Our non-veg guest was absolutely blown away by every dish we ordered, they could not fathom how everyday veggies could actually taste this good. A seasonal menu means you’ll have to come back. Designed for sharing (but of course you don’t have to). Each dish is decently priced, but accumulates to a substantial bill (still, it was worth it). We did make the rookie error of ordering too many dishes, not leaving room for desserts. Still, a superb place to bring loved ones: my parents really loved the experience here 💕.
Walking distance from Hyde park and Speaker’s corner, this is a place to consider before/after picketing. Place does get quite crowded, even on a weekday afternoon (with such lovely food, it’s not a wonder).
Single step to enter, and outdoor seating available. Gender-neutral +accessible bathroom on the same level.
