Review of Piatto Unico di Riso con Verdure at Bar San Vincenzo by clxolao

🇮🇹Questo bar adorabile fa anche da ristorante in orari di pranzo e cena. Il menù è molto ridotto, ma sono assolutamente disponibili a veganizzare i piatti e togliere elementi da quelli già presenti nel menu.
Quasi tutti i camerieri sono di origine cinese e per questo quando io e mia madre andiamo nel loro baretto (possibilmente almeno una volta a settimana per merenda!) ordiniamo il loro fantastico "piatto unico di riso con verdure".
Potrebbe sembrare un piatto banale, ma il loro cuoco ha le mani d'oro, ogni singolo elemento ha un gusto distinto, singolare, e il "sughetto" che vi è al fondo del piatto è la perfezione affinché il pasto non risulti secco.
Il riso bianco è cotto alla perfezione: morbido, non appiccicoso e gustoso, accompagnato da carote, zucchine e peperoni. Le verdure si sciolgono in bocca, ed è proprio un comfort food perché è semplice ma pieno di sapori.
Super raccomandato, spesso lo accompagniamo con i loro mini involtini primavera croccantissimi.
Staff eccezionale, prezzi ottimi.

🇬🇧This lovely bar also doubles as a restaurant during lunch and dinner hours. The menu is very small, but they are absolutely willing to veganize the dishes and remove items from those already on the menu.
Almost all the waiters are of Chinese origin and for this reason when my mother and I go to their little bar (possibly at least once a week for a snack!) we order their fantastic "single dish of rice with vegetables".
It might seem like a trivial dish, but their chef has golden hands, every single element has a distinct, singular taste, and the "sauce" that is at the bottom of the dish is perfect so that the meal is not dry.
The white rice is cooked to perfection: soft, non-sticky and tasty, accompanied by carrots, zucchini and peppers. The vegetables melt in your mouth, and it's really comfort food because it's simple but full of flavours.
Super recommended, we often accompany it with their crunchy mini spring rolls.
Excellent staff, excellent prices.
