Sea Salt Flakes

Today I’m reviewing... salt 🧂🧐

...but just hear me out 😂

When I met my husband he had this in the cupboard and I thought it was uncharacteristically snobbish of him to have such “fancy” salt. I mean, salt is salt... right?

WRONG!

There really is something special about Maldon. I sometimes find myself eating a pinch of it or sprinkling it onto a raw tomato just to savour it.

It’s really great to cook with or season your food ✨ bit of a “guilty pleasure” purchase for us, which I never thought I’d be saying about salt of all things, but so it is 😋

A beautiful and high quality finishing salt! I initially bought these to use on chocolate chunk cookies but they’re also nice on brownies or other baked goods and as a finishing salt on savory snacks and dishes like bruschetta or edamame. Really could be used in anything!

Used and known all round the world, and being just 15 minutes down the road it would be rude not to use maldon sea salt! Not sure why it has such a following with chefs and restaurants world wide? Maybe it’s the pyramid shape you can also buy from Maldon sea salt? Bit over priced tbh but Nonetheless very tasty! Would recommend! 🧂
