Mushroom and Tumeric “Risotto”

This dish is moist & super yum. My man is finally full. He usually is not full with two dishes from Real Food as the portions are small. This is the 4th time I have dragged him to Real Food. Somehow each time he does not have a good experience. This time, he waited 50mins for his food. The others have finished their mains before his came. A hungry man is an angry man. Well, he was not angry, but he said he no longer wants to dine at Real Food. He would rather walk to Green Ba anytime.

This was surprisingly really good! In fact I will surely eat it again when I am back at the South Beach Tower branch. The risotto was filling, creamy, fragrant and you can each grain so well coated with the sauce/gravy(?). #crf

Taste quite strongly of coriander. But as a coriander lover, im not complaining.

The soy milk made it really nice and creamy BUT not gonna lie, was a but gelak at the end and struggled to finish a little.

An instant favorite! Very savoury and love the nuttiness of the nutritional yeast that is sprinkled on top. #veganisnotscary

It was really much better than I expected! Perhaps the use of brown rice made the rice feel tougher with more presence, so it didnt dwindle despite sucking up the broth.

The broth was quite flavorful from the kombu, and could steal stand out from the turmeric. I see a lot of potential for using flavors other then turmeric for in this dish!

Also, it wasn't just filled with rice, there was a good amount of mushroom and capsicum and corn to give a balance nutrients and texture. I think it'd be a great idea to add... slightly sauteed diced yellow onions~

Very tasty (every bite of it ooze with flavours). There are corn, red and green peppers, black eye beans, etcetc all mixed tgt with the tumeric and mushroom. I ordered it without onion n garlic, regular price $12.80.
Oh and it was a bit filling. For small appetite eaters, i think 2 ppl can share 1😁

There is a slight curry taste because of the turmeric.. The rice is loaded with veggies and the sauce was creamy and rich. A belly filler for sure.

Really loved the flavourful mushrooms in this dish! Pretty tasty and hearty, served piping hot with tumeric 🍄 The “risotto“ was made of brown rice. The only slightly regrettable bit is the portion size for $12.80 (w/o service charges)😒 Still, pretty decent for food in town!
