Mac ‘n Dairy-Free Cheese

I've been meaning to review this for a while, I always forget to take a picture because I'm too excited to eat it 😂 mac n cheese was my absolute favourite food before being vegan and definitely my biggest "sacrifice." I've tried probably about 15 recipes for vegan mac n cheese and tried 2 or 3 bought/restaurant ones. I've never found one nearly as close to this! I definitely would buy it again, I've had it several times. It says not suitable for oven heating, but I take it out the packaging and put it on the oven in a glass dish. It gets much more crispy like that :)
update: I tried this in the air fryer as well and it worked too!

This will fulfil all of your nostalgic microwave dinners dreams. I loved it. It was completely coated in sauce and there was even enough sauce left over to scrap out onto a piece of sourdough.

Great comfort food for winter. Smokey vibes. More "cheezy" than the real thing, ironically #greytonfarmanimalsanctuary 

Ok. I haven't had "real" mac and cheese since I was younger.. 🧀 but I remember the taste and this was the closest to what I remember and oh so delicious! As you can see in the second pic, no spot was left uneaten and I was so sad when it was finished! I normally make my own vegan mac and cheese at home from scratch and also the Woolies ready made sauce in a jar was very disappointing.. so this is the first ready made mac and cheese that has been so yummy! 🧀🍜 Same price (well R1 cheaper) as the normal mac and cheese so well done Woolies!

As far as normal mac and cheese goes I'm not a fan, but couldn't resist trying a new plant based product! Amazed at how cheesy and creamy the sauce is, I doubt a non-vegan would tell the difference. The mac was a little too soft for my liking but can't have everything in a microwave meal. Would def get again if in a rush but would add some mushrooms and carrots and peas because I missed my veggies!
