Organic Shredded Kale

I typically purchase kale by the head in order to avoid plastic but this week I ended up purchasing this bag from Trader Joe’s.

Though the plastic is a pity, it is so convenient to have the kale off of the stem and pre-shredded. This product would be great for someone with limited mobility and/or time.

The shreds are a nice size and there is 10 oz in the bag. It is a good value considering the convenience and that it is organic.

I used some of this in a stew and I’ll use the rest in a salad.

Delicious and nutritious.

Great product! It was shredded nicely without a lot of woody stalks. I sautéed it with spinach and added vegan butter, lemon juice and seasoning.
