Saved 0%I used to buy chimichurri sauce at a local empanada restaurant (Nonna’s Empanadas in LA). This TJ version isn’t quite as good, but it is half cheaper.
The sauce has so much flavor and it goes really well with various breads (my favorite is spreading it on naan). Also, worth mentioning that I’ve served it to two people in the last week and they both loved it.
New product and I love it! So fresh and herby and delicious with a slight kick of heat. Had it with papparadelle and a salad and dang it’s good. Thinking it would be excellent on grilled veggies, roasted potatoes and cauliflower steaks. Found at Trader Joe’s in the hummus section.
I was super excited to see this on the shelf at TJ's! I love chimichurri and could put it on almost anything. For dinner, I put it on roasted carrots, mushrooms, and rice. This is a more cilantro-based sauce while traditional chimichurri is primarily parsley. I do love cilantro, but I wish they used a more traditional recipe.
