Yum! This Sea Salt & Almond Taza Chocolate is really rich and nicely sweetened. The
almonds give a light crunch and the chocolate is drier than other chocolates I’ve had, but interestingly enough, maintains a wonderful texture and taste.
Nutritionally, there are two servings in a bar and each serving has 200 calories from 13g fat (8g saturated fat from cocoa butter), 15g carbohydrates (6g fiber) and 4g of protein. If I must say, this seems to be a really wonderful health-packed option. I would consider making this a regular part of one’s diet.
Their ingredients are simple and they boast less processing in making this bar. They also use hand-carved granite millstones to grind up the chocolate. Wonder if they do factory tours...would love to see that process in action.
Purchased on sale at Stop & Shop for $2.59, normally priced at $3.59. I understand the higher price, but really love it when it’s at sale prices.
