Sunrise Extra Firm Tofu

I love this tofu! I always repurchase it. The extra firm one is my favourite texture. Great for stir fry’s, marinated, baked crispy or pan fried with sauce.

This tofu isn't as extra firm as expected. The herbed tofu I reviewed before is actually more firm. I like this one anyway. (It's non-GMO).

Here I used a curry powder and a few other spices in the mix with some oil and put it in the oven with some tomatoes to have a dose of lycopene which increases with cooking tomatoes. This increases the absorption of lycopene and thus gives you an antioxidant boost. Good combo with the benefits of the tofu which include the protein, calcium, and iron (to be brief).

Genuinely my favourite extra firm tofu! The texture is great and versatile. 

I always have this either in my fridge or freezer. It's my favourite tofu for versatility.
