@dafnelately is right, the VOML is ever so slightly better than the VGML. But that's

not saying much, since the latter one is an abomination. I still prefer that this lousy meal service be discontinued for short sectors like the 2-hour hop from Bangkok 😑 A combination of tasteless steamed rice with tasteless boiled root vegetables and stir-fried tofu + terung (okay, some flavour here), well in #tryharder territory

As this serves an oriental vegetarian diet, it's egg-free and allium-free, but there's nothing to stop them from using dairy. Most oriental cooking doesn't put dairy into the main dish, but don't be surprised if on longer sectors with "three-course" inflight meals you get a pad of butter with the bread roll plus a dairy dessert. Valid option for the leaner catering concept on MH's sub-3-hour routes, I guess. #airlinefood 🤮

From the airline 👇
• A vegetarian Chinese or Oriental style meal.
• Does NOT contain onion,

garlic and any animal products or by-products such as eggs and dairy.

I had this almost a month ago on my flight to Kuching and looking back, I should’ve opted for this for my flight back again this week 😅 The #tofu and gravy was really not bad, honestly. Otherwise? It’s airline food and this is just #forthedollar 😛 #veganisnotscary
