Santal 33 is THE break out product for cult fragrance brand Le Labo. It has since gone mainstream being used everywhere from chic Hong Kong restaurant bathrooms to swanky London hotel lobbies — but that’s not going to stop me from loving it so much. There are whiffs of cardamom, violet and the all-important sandalwood which reminds me at once of a crackling fireplace and the lingering scent of cigar smoke in a creaky old manor. Profumo unisex, vegano (mi fa piacere che è uno dei pochi brand di alto livello a specificarlo e a farne un vanto). Nato come profumo di nicchia, ma ormai talmente popolare da non esserlo più, è un eau de parfum legnoso speziato con spiccate note di sandalo, accompagnate da papiro, violetta ed ambra. Decisamente non economico ma sicuramente un profumo speciale.
