🥰Thank you @herbyvorefoods for earlier generous Mother Day giveaway, my Mom and I get to enjoy Vegan Herbyvore Thali set meal @rangmahal , which cost $58+++ per pax. This is my first time trying out Herbyvore Pea Paneer in Indian Cuisine. They are Vegan Cottage cheese block made with “Yellow Pea” protein and are an amazing substitute of dairy paneer. Per 100g comparison with Diary Paneer, Tofu and Pea Paneer, Pea Paneer contain higher amount of protein, calcium, and dietary fibre (go check out their website for more information).

We have tried the below Pea Paneer inspired dishes in the restaurant:

✨ Soup - Lentil Soup with Herbyvore pea Paneer foam and lentil sprout. Pea Paneer foam is interesting whip and design to the soup. Lentil soup hot and comforting. It is a little spicy for my mother, but I love it!

✨ Main: Pea Paneer Platter which consists of 7 items. Love the variety of the platter a lot and especially the Pea Paneer Kulcha and Kaffir lime Moilee with Herbyvore Pea Paneer. Yummmmmmy! Pea paneer are great substitute with higher nutritional value than the dairy paneer.

If you looking to try Herbyvore Pea Paneer curations, this is the place to go as it offer a variety of Pea Paneer inspired Indian cuisine. The restaurant staff are friendly and restaurant has good ambience and vibe. Restaurant offer Vegan options, Gluten Free options, Jaan options, Vegetarian options and customisable Alliums Free Veg options. 😋 #abillionturns3

[SG, Alliums Free Vegan Products @herbyvorefoods, Promo ⬇️] Do you know that HerbYvore food products are 100% plant-based, alliums free & vegan. They are sustainably sourced whereby the protein ingredient is farm-to-fork and the final products are made in 🇸🇬. This brand was born out of a desire to motivate more people to embrace a plant-based diet to make a sustainable positive impact to health, as well as to the planet. 💯% likey their brand purpose. 🥰

Currently, they have launched 3 products for the community. I have tried them and loving the taste 😋

💚 HerbYvore Plant Protein Block: This is a versatile ingredient for plant-based recipes that do not compromise on the taste and flavours. It looks like tofu but offer more protein than tofu, cooks like a non-melting cheese and provides a binding effect needed in some plant-based recipes. Earlier we used it in pie, pasta and sweets. Gosh, all tasted so good. I finished my set in no time. Swipe >>> to see our cook!

💚 HerbY-Cheese Series: Mozzarella & Cheddar : These plant-based cheeses features a farm-to-fork protein sourced from peas, making them possibly few of the healthiest vegan cheeses around. Their cheese grates and melts just like real Cheeses. To me, they indeed tasted like mozzarella and cheddar. 🤤 Eating it, I feel like pairing with red wine & crackers. They would be good pairing to sandwiches and serve well as cheese shavings for pasta too.

I figured I could lazily attempt some palak paneer with this but 😐 while my palak actually came out alright (even with me using a handmixer instead of grounding it properly), the paneer was just bad. Well ok not bad, but it just tasted like firm tofu? Nothing cheesy or paneer about it at all 🤧 Unfortunately HerbYvore has been about the most disappointing vegan cheese brand I’ve come across. #dobetter #fail #veganin2021

🇸🇬

I love eating Palak Paneer, but dairy being dairy was super heavy and gave me a lot of issues. I took the plunge to cut off dairy first when I was still a flexitarian around 2018 which was the best decision I've ever made. 🍽️ I've tried substituting tofu in this dish but it never cuts close even with the drying/dry freeze dry method 😬 This product is amazing but seasoning is imperative! It soaks up a lot of flavor like tofu but because it's made from pea protein I guess the texture is more cheese-like! Plus, this is #madeinsg 🇸🇬 Can't wait to try other paneer recipes out next!! #veganuary

Bought this the first time but the second time I received this, I was fortunate enough to get it free as part of CRF SG’s #dietchangeforclimatechange campaign for donating my #abillion earnings to CRF!

I’m actually not a fan of regular paneer and didn’t eat it that much even as a vegetarian so I didn’t have any particular vested expectations. Having said that, most of my paneer-loving family took to it pretty well so it’s a decent substitute for paneer. It’s softer to the bite but not as soft as tofu. You don’t really taste the pea flavour or anything that might remotely suggested plant-based. All in all, a pretty novel innovation. I do note that most of the other reviews on this product are on the negative side though in my personal experience the product wasn’t too bad, but everyone’s experience may vary.

I also note that several of the five-star reviews published on this product are by the company itself, which is kinda problematic! The product should be rated by consumers, not the producers.
