Lemon Pepper Tofu

I found this at my local Walmart so wanted to five it a try. The price was still moderate but I’m glad I picked it up. The tofu was the perfect firm texture to go with my rice and steamed veggies. The flavor was subtle, the pepper and lemon could have been kicked up a notch. But it was good, not bland tasting. The convenience if not having to marinate my own tofu from scratch is awesome.
The leftovers also were delicious the next day chopped up in my veggie stir fry with Just Egg. #nongmo #palmoilfree

Saw this for the first time at Walmart a couple weeks ago and decided to try it. I am not big on cooking meals, so my meal cooking comes in the form of throwing random things in a crock pot. This was one of those things. With some rice, frozen veggie mix, chickpeas and a little extra lemon, and pepper flavor... came out decent.
I liked the texture and flavor of the tofu. I will get this again but cook it differently next time.

Prepackaged lemon pepper seasoned tofu bites. I tossed it with cornstarch and lightly pan fried then in lemon infused olive oil. Delicious! Slightly salty but I enjoyed it.
