Chewy and Crispy Peanut Butter Bites with Chocolate Coating

These were better than I expected. Also wasn’t expecting another rice crispy treat, but these were so different. They are 1” cubes of chewy rice crispy squares. But not regular rice crispy squares. Here they use peanut butter instead of fluff, so it’s denser, and possibly heated because it’s congealed instead of messy like regular peanut butter. I think it tastes slightly of caramel. The chocolate coating is a nice compliment to the flavors.

These are individually wrapped and come 10 in a pack.

Each bite is 100 calories, 4g fat, 15g carbs and 2g protein. There is also some palm oil used, but it’s way down the ingredient list. I don’t know if you can have just one. They’re too good.

A friend shared these with me, as the peanut butter bites come individually wrapped.  I didn’t necessarily remember having anything like this before until I bit into one…then the memory was somewhat unlocked. My mom never made peanut butter Krispies…but someone’s mom did!

These are tasty and a nice snack if you’re feel like something sweet and crunchy.

These aren’t the best peanut butter chocolate snacks. They are overly sugary and it’s hard to eat more than a half of a square.
